Staff Development - Learning & Action Book Discussion - Caste

Prior to the group discussions, register for the Annual Tanner Forum on Social Ethics via virtual live stream on Nov. 4, 7-8:30 p.m. to hear from the author.

Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, a passionately researched examination of the unspoken caste system that shaped America and still defines our lives today. Wilkerson captivates audiences with the universal human story of migration and reinvention, the enduring search for the American dream, and the unseen hierarchies that have divided us as a nation, because story is how we find a way to transcend them.

Optional Check in and planning: Nov 5th -- 1-2 pm. The day after we hear the author speak- for those who attend.

Books will be distributed in November, to be read prior to the first meeting on Jan. 14th.
