The Open Educational Resources Office has spots available for SLCC Faculty interested in or working with OER to attend the Open Education Conference virtually. This dynamic gathering celebrates the core values of open education that strive to realize education ecosystems that are accessible, affordable, equitable, and inclusive to everyone, regardless of their background. It is a favorite among many SLCC Faculty. The conference will be held on 4 days from October 17-20. Live programming will generally take place between 10 am to 6 pm EDT. Sessions will be recorded and shared after.
Please register the SLCC Registration System (FOEC Registration code under Faculty Development) before October 6 to save your spot. After that date, you will then receive a confirmation email from the OER office indicating they have registered and paid for the event on your behalf and will provide further details on attending. Four adjuncts will be able to participate. Adjuncts must have AD or Chair approval before registering and will receive 20 hours of paid professional development.
