SLCC has a new A.S. degree in Outdoor Adventure, Parks & Recreation (OAPR). If you love sports, tourism, recreation, and the outdoors, this might be your major. You can complete the OAPR program in 1 or 2 years and then enter a career in OAPR, transfer to a 4-year program, or both.
Careers include: outdoor guiding, coaching, sport management, coaching, ski industry, outdoor apparel and retail, therapeutic recreation, park ranger, forest management, natural resource management, etc. Learn more about classes and the major at one of two information sessions.
