In this learning community, participants will learn how to create equitable writing instruction, assignment, and assessment practices for all SLCC students.
This session of the learning community explores the debate about language varieties in education and offers teaching strategies that affirm students' English language varieties that they bring to college.
Participants will complete a four-hour self-paced Canvas course and a one-hour scheduled learning community discussion. Register for one, two, or all three learning community courses!
Adjunct faculty will be compensated 5 hours for this learning community.
