The movie was great, but the entire experience was awful. First off, the announcement said it would begin at 9 p.m. and I invited several other individuals to join me at the event. We all showed up just before 9:00 to find that there was no one at the amphitheater.

After watching several other people show up and walk away in frustration and confusion that the event was not where it said it would be when it said it would be there. I decided to walk to the Student Center to find out if anyone knew anything only to learn that the event had been moved inside the Student Center ant began at 8 p.m., an entire hour earlier that posted. My group of invites as well as others that I saw come in around 9 p.m. missed the first hour of the event.

I had even sent a comment on the website asking if the event had been canceled due to the weather from the rain earlier in the day. No one replied to my comment that the event was being moved indoors. Neither did it state on the website that the event would begin earlier and moved indoors if the weather was not ideal conditions. Then there was not sufficient amount of pizza or drinks for the multitude of people.

This was a terrible communication blunder. For future events I suggest that you keep to the schedule that is posted and add a comment that the event may be moved indoors if weather requires. I would also suggest that you keep vigilant to the comments posted on the website for the event and make every effort to answer peoples comments and concerns. Otherwise what is the point of leaving a comment if you are not going to review and respond.

I know that I am not the only individual that was annoyed by the circumstances but probably the only one that will bring it to anyone's attention.

Is this event still on or will it be canceled due to the weather?

Posters say dusk, but this event says 9pm? Isn't dusk at 8pm?
