Learn how to set goals with employees that align with the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values using the Growth, Planning and Support program.
Understand essential Equal Employment Opportunity topics and how to discuss them. Topics such as discrimination, protected classes, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and confidentiality issues will be covered in detail.
Module 2: Employee Relations
Gain an understanding of SLCC’s corrective action and supervisory compliance policies and practices. Review FMLA, ADA and more.
Module 3: Hiring and Employment
SLCC Hiring and Employment processes including job descriptions, talent management, voluntary separations, and different types of employees and how to manage them.
Module 4: Legal and Risk Management
Free Speech, Subpoenas and Records Requests, Workers’ Compensation, Contract Review, Required Training, Driver Safety Training, Accident and Loss Reporting, and who to contact when you need help with these and other topics.
