Staff Development Training - Caregiver Program - Involving the Family

This workshop is part of the SLCC Caregiver Program.

Families rarely have a standard model for caring for their loved ones. Each family caregiver usually has their own idea about how things should be done. The key to working together is understanding care planning, holding consistent family meetings and negotiating care responsibilities. Tools and booklets provided.

-Arranging for help
-Respecting individuality.

This workshop is presented by Kathy Nelson, Training Specialist for Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services.
