SLCC Caregiver Program for Employees - The Caregiver Academy Workshop 5: Managing

This workshop is part of the SLCC Caregiver Academy, a series of six workshops that assist family and community caregivers in developing the skills needed to manager an in-home care environment. It is recommended that you attend all six sessions, but you are welcome to attend as many as you can. Each participants receives a free Managing Care Guide.

Workshop 5: Managing Difficult Behaviors
Caregivers learn how to manage, not just cope with, difficult behaviors. Caregivers learn to use behavior tracking and reporting tools to better problem-solve with care professionals.

Presented by Kathy Nelson, Training Specialist for Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services

Box lunches provided by Staff Development.

There is no cost; however, you must register in the SLCC Employee Training Portal under "Staff Development" to be able to attend.
