SLCC Caregiver Program for Employees - The Caregiver Academy Workshop 1: Finding Caregiver Resources

This workshop is part of the SLCC Caregiver Academy, a series of six workshops that assist family and community caregivers in developing the skills needed to manager an in-home care environment. It is recommended that you attend all six sessions, but you are welcome to attend as many as you can. Each participants receives a free Managing Care Guide.

Workshop 1: Finding Caregiver Resources
The right resource can minimize a caregiver’s task load, allowing them to enjoy a better-managed care environment. Come learn about the outcomes, products, and processes associated with full time care. Learn to speak “professional caregiver” to get needs met quickly.

Presented by Kathy Nelson, Training Specialist for Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services

Box lunches provided by Staff Development.

There is no cost; however, you must register in the SLCC Employee Training Portal under "Staff Development" to be able to attend.
