Artist Gilmore Scott's palette is strong, bold and simple. His paintings are interpretations of how he views his Dine (Navajo) heritage. Scott's subjects include high southwest desert landscapes, traditional baskets, as well as traditional homes. He also incorporates geometric designs that Dine rug weavers are known for.
