This New Faculty Pre-Orientation Workshop will be a virtual opportunity to meet our newest SLCC Faculty. We will introduce faculty to the New Faculty Checklist. Attendees will be encouraged to enroll in the Introduction to Community College Teaching Course and will be reminded about the Canvas User Credential Course as well. Faculty Development will answer any questions that new faculty have about teaching at a community college. We will also direct participants to campus resources they may need to engage with as they get access to campus technology, parking, Canvas, etc. This new faculty workshop will also focus on preparing a syllabus. We look forward to meeting all new full-time and adjunct faculty at this virtual event.
