Native Voices - Movies at the Markosian Library Series

As part of the national travelling exhibit "Native Voices," come join us for a screening of the Movie, "Up Heartbreak Hill" (83 min.).

Refreshments will be provided.

This movie chronicles the lives of three Native American teenagers in Navajo, New Mexico-Thomas, an elite runner; Tamara, an academic superstar; and Gabby, an aspiring photographer-as they navigate their senior year at a reservation high school.

This film is a moving look at a new generation of Americans struggling with what it means to be Native American in the contemporary world.
