Many SLCC students are balancing school with other obligations, like work and families; or they might think skipping meals and lacking nutritious food is normal during college years. But every SLCC student should have all the food they need to succeed!
Do you know about all the food resources we have at SLCC? Come learn more about our Bruin Pantry, Campus Community Gardens, and more!
Did you know that some students can also qualify for monthly grocery money through the food stamp program? We know this process is tricky, so we'll have folks on hand to help you navigate the process. Come, get the information you need, make new friends, and apply for services.
Want to know what to bring and if you qualify for Food Stamps? Check out this post for guidelines. You can also explore the benefits calculator here: https://www.uah.org/get-help/calculator.
We will be at South City Campus from 10-2pm and again from 4-6 pm this day.
This event is sponsored by The Social Work Association, Utahns Against Hunger and the Thayne Center.
