Salt Lake Community College

Beginner Crochet Workshop: Cotton Wash Cloth

Learn to crochet in this workshop! This class is for folks who are very new to crocheting or who have never crocheted a day in their life! You will learn how to do a basic single crochet and be able to create a nice cotton wash cloth. Once you have learned to crochet, the possibilities of what you can make are endless!

All materials are reclaimed and from the Creative Reuse Center, so all the final products will be unique to the participant! This class is taught by Kristal W, a Clever Octopus shop staff who focuses on sustainable fashion. She operates LoveStreetSalvage where she sells curated and refashioned vintage clothing, along with unique gifts handmade from vintage and second hand materials.
